Yes, it can be illuminating about the relationships as far as how often you have talked to someone in the intervening year between their last birthday and this. I keep wanting to write something about “Dunbar’s number” and how we manage our own networks, virtually and face-to-face. I know that there are people that I would have lost contact with entirely if it were not for the virtual space. But there are also times (and maybe this is the introvert/clinician in me) that needs to withdraw. Not sure where that is going …

Thank you for responding though. I’m not some technological declinist, but I do want all of us to be aware (and mindfully present) with what we are doing to ourselves and each other.
